Rubber Protective Sleeve
Rubber impact and abrasion sleeve for the coupling binding area of fire hoses
Synthetic rubber sleeve that protects the hose at the coupling binding against abrasion and impact damage.
Properties
- Protects the hose at the binding against holes caused by abrasion or by couplings striking the ground
- Fits tightly and prevents dirt from collecting between sleeve and hose
- Protects against possible hand injuries when coupling
- Suitable for retrofitting
- L1: an impact and abrasion protection can be fitted over the coupling tail
- L2 and L3: an impact and abrasion protection must be fitted over the coupling tail
- Hoses fitted with the sleeve are marked 'L1', 'L2' or 'L3' at the end of the DIN marking
