Tube Membrane Diffuser
Tubular membrane diffuser for wastewater aeration, PP body, EPDM, PU or silicone membrane
Tubular fine-bubble membrane diffuser with polypropylene body, available with EPDM, PU or silicone membrane, suitable for intermittent operation.
Properties
- available with EPDM, PU or silicone membrane
- suitable for intermittent operation
- usually mounted in pairs on square or round stainless steel pipes in the aeration basin
- air is fed through a 3/4" connector via the aeration grid into the distribution chambers and from there under the membrane
- the perforation opens when air is supplied; air leaves the diffuser as small bubbles into the wastewater
- when the air is switched off, the water pressure presses the membrane onto the air hole and closes the aeration system
