Hose liners (manchons)
Rubber Manchon White With Adhesive
NBR rubber hose liner tube with adhesive layer, white
NBR rubber liner tube with an NBR adhesive layer, drawn or woven into polyester or polyamide hose jackets and vulcanised.
Properties
- elongation at break 350 %
- tensile strength 700 N/cm³
- Shore A approx. 55
- During vulcanisation both layers obtain their physical properties and develop adhesion to the fabric
- Adhesion with normal synthetic yarns: 20 to 25 N; with rubber-friendly finished yarns: 30 to 40 N
- Storage: up to 6 months from the production date when stored properly (cool, i.e. below 25 °C, dry and dark)
- Can be drawn or woven into the hose fabric and vulcanised without further treatment; steam, infrared or hot air can be used to activate the white adhesive layer. Heating time depends on local conditions and fabric construction. Guide value for steam vulcanisation: 8 minutes at 5 bar steam pressure.
Construction
- Material
- Compound of NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) and NBR liquid adhesive
- Temperature range
- -30 °C to +100 °C (temporarily higher)
